Samuel brings a practical, solutions-oriented approach that has earned him the trust of clients ranging from major Canadian telecoms to small businesses navigating their earliest corporate milestones.
Much of Samuel’s career was shaped by his time as in-house counsel, where he developed a rare ability to step into a team’s world and learn not only their business functions but their growth goals, the risks they carried, and the customer needs driving their business. That operational fluency translated directly into his legal work: drafting and negotiating complex telecommunications contracts, leading real estate and marketing legal teams, overseeing high-stakes commercial negotiations, and advising on everything from procurement agreements to brand management. Whether guiding a startup through its first shareholder agreement or steering a telecom through a major contract negotiation, Samuel’s goal has always been the same, agreements that work the way his clients’ businesses do.
Samuel blends versatile legal expertise, business-mindedness and entrepreneurial spirit with a natural knack for leadership. He’s worked closely and collaboratively across departments and with senior leadership to bridge the gap between legal and business operations, positioning himself as a true partner and advisor to all clients that cross his desk.
