Jason is a General Counsel with 11+ years’ experience delivering a broad array of legal services. His expertise includes reviewing, negotiating and drafting a large assortment of external-facing commercial contracts including leases, master services agreements, statements of work, affiliate, contra, cloud computing, technology, reseller and IT Services Agreements. He has experience in operations and project management in civil/commercial litigation, occupational health and safety claims, contract negotiations and labour/employment cases. Jason additionally has experience with corporate governance in legal research and analysis, document compliance, due diligence, and corporate security, as well as relationship management including conflict mediation and resolution, client relations, witness interviews, and team training/development.

Jason also has an expertise in Occupational Health and Safety law- both as a legal practitioner defending corporate clients against charges laid under provincial health and safety legislation and as a health and safety consultant to the transportation, heavy industrial and oil and gas sectors resulting in him being one of only four lawyers practicing in Canada while concurrently designated as a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (C.R.S.P.)- the Canadian gold standard for certification as a health and safety professional.

Jason is a problem solver with organizational abilities and an eye for detail. He has effective time management skills to meet deadlines and is able to organize and prioritize tasks to complete projects within specific time constraints.
