Jacques is a pragmatic business and legal leader with a versatile background spanning private practice and in-house roles. He advises executive leadership and boards on governance, regulatory, privacy, and strategic matters, and has led enterprise governance, risk, compliance, and privacy programs across entire organizations. His commercial work includes negotiating complex agreements that support strategic partnerships and revenue growth, as well as software licensing, manufacturing, distribution, and global handset supply agreements.
Jacques has also acted as lead counsel on major licensing, acquisition, divestiture, and sports broadcasting transactions. He has overseen key litigation matters and managed external counsel on high-profile disputes, while supporting global sales and marketing operations throughout his career.
