New Podcast – “Business Decisions” brought to you by Caravel Law
All of us at Caravel Law are really excited to announce the launch of our new weekly podcast, “Business Decisions.” Each week, we’ll speak with a founder or business leaders about some of the challenges associated with building a business and some of the key decisions along the way that shaped the path to success.
After each interview, we’ll be joined by one of Caravel Law’s lawyers to briefly talk about one or two of the issues that came up during the discussion. In our first few episodes we cover topics ranging from the discussions two friends should have before starting a business together, all the way to how to prepare your company for a possible sale.
The podcast combines interesting and inspiring stories with helpful advice. We’re looking to bring together the business considerations and the legal considerations because we believe that intersection is where the best business decisions get made.
Our first episode features an interview with Eva Chan, one of the co-founders of Launch Pop. If you’re going to launch a new podcast, who better to speak with than someone who specializes in launches! Eva shares the story of starting a business with her best friend and how they brought their skill sets together to help companies bring new products to market. Launch Pop has grown quickly and Eva and her co-founder, Jane have big plans for the company. We think you’ll really enjoy this conversation.
We also speak with Jason Rosen, a corporate lawyer with Caravel Law who has helped many companies get started, set themselves up for long-term success and explore M&A opportunities. He shares his views on why it’s important for co-founders to get a shareholder agreement in place from the beginning.
