Sean is a practical leader with a wealth of legal and business experience, including acting as Commercial Counsel for Canada’s largest publicly listed (NASDAQ) biotechnology company.

While in this in-house role, and during his time in private practice, Sean coordinated a number of transactions. His expertise included drafting relevant documentation, from international and national manufacturing partnerships, to in and out-licensing technology, to acquisition and disposal of assets.

Sean is a high-energy, efficient professional who thrives in high-pressure environments. A skill he proved while supporting several notable projects, including: raising over over US$1B in common shares and pre-funded warrants across numerous financings including Xenon’s largest financing round ever following its successful phase 2(b) data (US$345M), acting as legal lead for Xenon’s successful phase 2 clinical trial in major depressive disorder and leading the negotiations for Xenon’s late-stage clinical and commercial manufacturing agreements, and, while in private practice, the progression of the Trans Mountain Pipeline Project and the acquisition of Correvio Pharma Corp by ADVANZ Pharma Corp Ltd.
