Christa comes from an impressive legal background spanning major multinational corporations and international law firms, as well as an innovative global SAAS company. Christa is a former partner at both Gowlings LLP and McCarthy Tetrault and has undertaken several leadership roles across her in-house career, including Chief Legal Officer, Chief HR Officer, Compliance Officer and Chief Operating Officer.​

While acting in these roles, Christa has proven her capacity for leadership and her business and legal acumen. Christa’s expertise includes managing legal, compliance and commercial matters, IT, Finance, HR and growth strategy for a global ethics reporting SaaS business. She has also overseen a successful 5-year transformation of that business, helping the company expand internationally and achieve growth targets. 

Christa has experience acting as a member of a Global Senior Leadership Team with enterprise-wide responsibility for legal, HR, governance and international business practices. She has also acted as lead negotiator and lawyer on complex transactions, such as oil & gas projects and transportation projects. ​
