Previously, as in-house counsel in a number of companies, Rose was the lead adviser on all global legal and regulatory issues, commercial transactions, IP issues regarding software, patent and trademarks, intermodal rail, ship and trucking, logistics and automated warehousing, and Human Resources. Rose was the lead on business advice for cross-border, international, and domestic corporate commercial issues.

Rose has been called upon to provide global legal advice and regulatory direction in mergers and acquisitions, revenue transactions, and corporate governance. She also was responsible for product and service activities, revenue transactions, employee matters, and commercial litigation.

Rose also has worked to create precedent documents for use in wholesale and retail revenue transactions, as well as managed Canadian corporate regulatory affairs.
