Peter Prattas is an experienced lawyer with more than two decades of experience managing the legal aspects of sophisticated real estate transactions, including over 12 years with one of the world’s largest retailers (Walmart Canada).

As in-house counsel and in private practice, Peter delivers practical, proactive and strategic advice with a business-first, results-oriented mindset. He is highly skilled in all aspects of real estate law at both the operational and executive-level, including structuring and overseeing real estate acquisitions and dispositions, conducting extensive due diligence, managing leasing and joint venture development and property management arrangements, and handling financial transactions.

Peter has extensive expertise in the area of commercial leasing. He is particularly experienced with complex leasing structures including ground leases, large retail and industrial/warehouse tenancies and mixed-use developments. He represents both landlords and tenants effectively managing real estate transaction.
