Mitchell is a team player and business-minded lawyer with over 20 years of experience supporting clients in both the public and private sectors across Canada and internationally. He has advised those clients on a variety of projects and other transactions, from inception to closing and during the construction and operating periods. He is well-versed in contract drafting and negotiating on large, complex projects, long-term O&M and other service agreements. This includes, in particular, those involving the interface between the public and private sectors.
Mitchell also has a background in tackling first-of-its-kind projects, including each of Canada’s and Bermuda’s first public hospital P3 projects, Canada’s first outsourced medical instrument sterilization service project, and Canada’s first infant formula manufacturing facility.
Mitchell is a well-rounded legal asset who considers long-term business and legal circumstances to provide clients with top-notch, practical guidance.
