Kellie is an experienced and pragmatic corporate and commercial lawyer, praised by her clients for her business-minded approach. Kellie’s work experience spans acting as frontline legal support for commercial negotiations with customers, government agencies, suppliers and other related counterparties; leading legal for a tech startup, advising key stakeholders and setting legal strategy while also overseeing HR, IT, communications, and governance; and assisting global and Canadian clients to identify, assess and manage current and emerging risks across their global businesses.
She also advises on the development and implementation of regulatory compliance matters, internal ESG governance, reporting and disclosure obligations, duties of directors and officers, due diligence processes, integrated risk management at both the corporate and project-specific levels, and corresponding corporate policies and procedures. In addition, Kellie provides fractional General Counsel support and strategic legal advice to executive teams and in-house legal leaders across mining, energy, technology and start up enterprises.
