Lisa has experience leading a legal department and risk management for a privately held Canadian business which included establishing, managing and delivering the legal function, managing the insurance portfolio and acting as the Ethics & Compliance officer as well as corporate secretary. She has ​overseen governance of the operating partnership with international partners, supporting the partnership’s management committee as well as lead the legal and regulatory functions for the partnership. Lisa has worked on both domestic and international M&A, has acted as local deal lead for the sale of a business, including sale preparation, execution and transition to close, and​ has drafted and negotiated a wide variety of commercial and employment documents for clients.
