John is a versatile lawyer with over 45 years of experience in a diversified practice of corporate/commercial law. John is not only a legal expert but a business-oriented leader who prides himself on providing practical, well-rounded advice.

John was a senior partner of a national law firm with international affiliations where he was involved in various aspects of client legal matters. He has experience supervising, managing and instructing external counsel across Canada with respect to corporate, transactional and litigation matters.

John also brings over 10 years of consulting experience with a boutique investment bank to the table. In this role, John had direct management responsibility for business and operations for securitization financing of franchised motor vehicle dealers and independent leasing companies, including project finance and infrastructure activities. He eventually pivoted from a consulting position to a full-time role with the company where he was Executive VP and General Counsel for five years.
