Beth is a creative problem solver and legal strategist with expansive corporate-commercial and deal experience. She has worked on a wide range of domestic and cross-border transactions, purchases and sales of businesses, complex corporate reorganizations and restructurings, and is an expert in contract drafting and negotiating.

Beth has worked on notable projects including developing and launching Rexall’s Be Well™ loyalty and health app, navigating trademark issues, negotiating contracts with vendors who help the app work and ensuring the program complies with regulatory and privacy law requirements, while Vice President, Legal Affairs at Rexall/McKesson. She has also worked on the privacy and compliance integration project following McKesson’s purchase of Rexall, and helped with the launch of the Canadian Internet Registration Authority while at Blakes.

Beth has been involved in the development of Lansdowne Park, representing Ontario Sports and Entertainment Group in a public-private partnership with the City of Ottawa. She also has experience representing a large specialty pharmaceutical company on a collaboration with a biotech firm for the development and commercialization of a biologic drug and suite of products.

Beth is a strong team leader who works effectively and efficiently in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment. Beth understands the value of setting a team up for long term success and achieves this by mentoring younger lawyers and business professionals.
