At Caravel Law, Philip Kennedy focuses primarily on commercial and corporate litigation, including franchise-related litigation, providing advice on various business and regulatory issues.
Philip started his legal career in the Commercial Litigation group of a large law firm, focusing on banking and investment industry issues, competition law and commercial insurance. Later, after moving to Australia, he worked in the litigation group of a large international law firm and then in-house with the largest bank in Australia, providing retail and business banking legal services to the Bank.
Upon returning to Canada, he returned to private practice working with clients from the manufacturing, financial services, and franchising sectors.
Philip regularly works with clients to mitigate regulatory and other legal risks faced by small businesses.
