Neil is a precise, driven, and results-oriented executive and lawyer which, in combination with his extensive experience, makes him well-equipped to tackle your legal needs and strive for the best possible outcome(s). Neil has worked on several notable projects throughout his career, including multiple merger & acquisition deals. He has helped with the design and launch of hundreds of funds, and played a key leadership and planning role in the launch of Sun Life’s asset management spinoff project(s) over a 5-year span. Neil has also lead the charge in Canada’s largest ever commercial law litigation (AEGON et al v. BCE) including leading multiple plaintiffs through trial, Quebec Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada – all in less than a year!

Neil is an excellent written and oral communicator, who works to ensure he always understands the “big picture”. He is a master of risk evaluation, and tactfully navigates the “grey” areas of law to ensure his clients find clarity and answers. He is practical, forthright and collegial.​
