Lorraine is a commercially practical lawyer who applies a realistic, business-driven approach when providing legal advice. She is a clear communicator who offers candid and proactive advice to help her clients efficiently identify and manage risk, grow their enterprises, and increase profitability. Lorraine has experience in anti-slavery supply chain compliance;​ advertising, marketing and related regulatory affairs, including social media advertising;​ and data protection and privacy. She also has experience with commercial and transactional matters, including intellectual property (IP) and information technology (IT) license agreements, and the data privacy, IP, and IT aspects of M&A transactions. Lorraine has advised on copyright, industrial designs, patents, plant breeder’s rights, trademarks, trade secrets and confidential information.

Lorraine has worked on various M&A transactions, including representing various entities in the divesture of the KIK Personal Care division to Voyant Beauty (2020), and representing SolSkyn Personal Care LLC as its sole in-house legal counsel on the internal deal team in its divestitures of the BULLFROG trademark portfolio and associated intellectual property to a US private equity buyer (2020) and in its divestiture of the NO-AD and OCEAN POTION trademark portfolio and related intellectual property to a private buyer (2021).
