David is a seasoned legal executive with excellent in-house experience. He has a mixed commercial law and regulatory practice, and has advised some of Canada’s best-known businesses on commercial contracts, privacy and data protection agreements, and marketing matters. David regularly supports Sales Teams in the negotiation of complex sales contracts and the creation of playbooks and other guidance documents. He has stepped in as acting Privacy Officer for his clients, and has experience with responding to cyber attacks and other crisis situations. He also advises on a wide range of regulatory matters, including Anti-Bribery and Corruption , CASL , and ICA & Competition Act issues.

David’s collegial and collaborative leadership style, his deep expertise in regulatory frameworks, and his practical experience as an in-house counsel advising on all aspects of organizational operations will quickly make him a valued member of your legal support team.
